The heating on the ground of the ground floor is by a heat pump which is reversible chill for winter and the summer.

The chimney, situated in the centre is a highly efficient use of energy and the electricity consumption over 5 years is 70KWh/m2/year.

There are also photovoltaic panels on the roof, installed in 2009 which will allow financial electrical freedom for 20 years.
